Monash University has placed 32nd in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact rankings 2024, scoring 93.6 out of 100.

The THE Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), across the broad areas of research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.

This year, a record 2,152 universities globally were assessed in the rankings from 125 countries and regions, marking a 26 per cent increase in the number of participants.

Monash continues its reputation as an established top 50 university. Earlier this month, the University ranked 37th in the 2025 QS World University Rankings, rising five places, significantly improving in the sustainability category, placing 23rd.
