Ye jun from China: ACIC student

The Dream

To obtain an Australian degree and have a successful career.

The Difficulties

The student was considered a mature age student and only had minimal IELTS/qualifications but wanted to study a Bachelor degree.

The Process

Catering for his age and lack of qualifications, ACIC carefully planned out Ye Jun's study path. We recommended him to study 20 weeks of English first to improve his English so he is well equipped for University study. ACIC successfully placed him to study the Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong (UOW).

The Outcome

With his efforts and outstanding performance, Ye Jun was recommended to Bachelor of Computer Science (Dean's Scholar) and completed with Distinction. Whilst he was a student, he also became a tutor at UOW and was employed by Channel 9 as an IT Engineer.

Ye Jun has now asked ACIC to apply for a 485 visa and PR in the future. He also informs us that he will sign a full time contract with channel 9 after his graduation from UOW.
