It is common for students, after studying for a few months in Australia, to change their mind over their career goals. They may then wish to choose a new study path. Similarly, students who have completed their studies are faced with the difficult decision of whether to start working or to pursue further education, and if so, which course they should choose.
How do I compare between courses and make a choice?
Our counsellors understand that the problem for on-shore students is often not the lack of information, but how to compare different information and make the right decision.
We will show you the relevant information for your circumstances and help you to compare the different information.
Direct advice from University staff
We regularly invite university admissions and faculty staff to conduct interview programs at ACICs offices. This allows you to talk directly to the institution personnel to get a clear understanding of the course, subjects and career opportunities involved.
ACIC staff also receives regular training from senior university personnel, which ensures we have the most accurate and up-to-date information for our students.
Designing the best study path for you
Our counsellors can help each student design a new study path that is based on their results in Australia and overseas, and cater for their changing needs. Every path is designed to be realistic and achievable.
In order to find different options, our counsellors will conduct research to gather information, verify information with institutions and liaise with administrators. Our aim is to provide you with the best options available.
Free advice and continual service
We do not charge any fees for counselling and applications for existing ACIC students, so you are free to discuss your plan with us as many times as you like.
Once you have made your choice, our admissions team will process your application efficiently and effectively, and assist with any specific requirements.
