UNSW accepts Gaokao students from China
UNSW has announced its Gaokao entry policy.
With effective from Yr 2014, the Gao Kao Qualification (Chinese National Higher Educations Entrance Examination) will be accepted as the basis for entry into most UNSW undergraduate programs, including humanities, commerce and economics, actuarial studies, architecture, fine arts, media, engineering and science.
Gaokao entry requirements are based on the percentage average of all attempted subjects in the Gaokao exam. Students from provinces with a maximum Gaokao mark of 750 for example, require scores ranging from 600 to 660 (being a range of 80 to 88 per cent), to gain entry into prestigious degree programs at UNSW.
